The Long Branch Motel was a delightful retreat! The room was impeccably clean and comfortable, with soft beds that made for a restful sleep. The bathroom was spotlessly maintained with excellent hot water and pressure. Plus, I thoroughly enjoyed a delicious burger and sweet tea at the saloon next door. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere.
Nothing.

clean room, nice shower pressure, nearby historic downtown
The walls are paper-thin, making privacy an issue!!! The shower for wheelchair accessibility lacks a reachable sprayer and proper drainage!!! Please consider leveling the beds as well—they tilt downwards!!! Also, adding disability parking would be appreciated!!!

For a quick getaway, this place was ideal. I really appreciated how clean and cozy the room was, especially the soft bed after a long day. We also explored the nearby Garrett County Historical Museum, which was a pleasant way to spend the afternoon. Dinner at the saloon next door was a highlight too, with the burger and sweet tea truly standing out.

Clean room with a cozy bed made my stay comfortable. The room felt spacious, thanks to the cute theme and spacious layout. Hot water in the shower was satisfying with great pressure. Enjoyed dinner at the saloon, where the steak impressed me beyond belief. it truly felt like a hidden gem. However, I noticed the walls were thin, and I could hear noise from the office area and upstairs. Additionally, the wheelchair accessible shower lacked a reachable sprayer and the bed tilted at one end, which I hope they can improve for future guests.

Immaculately clean room with a practical layout made for a comfortable stay. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the dinner at the nearby saloon was delightful, especially the sweet tea. However, noise from neighboring rooms was noticeable at times, and the parking area could become crowded during busier nights. For those needing a quiet retreat, it may be helpful to request a room away from the train tracks.

Just a proper fit for a temporary stay in Oakland with value for money. The hot water pressure in the shower was impressive. Make sure to check in at the saloon next door if the office is closed.

good stay but some noise outside
The room was well-maintained with soft beds that ensured a restful sleep. The bathroom was impressively clean, featuring excellent hot water and water pressure. I appreciated the free wifi and ample parking, which made my stay hassle-free. I found the saloon next door to be delightful, as the best burger and sweet tea I had complimented an enjoyable evening.
The quiet motel environment was occasionally disrupted by nearby train sounds.
